A Campus with Exceptional Architecture

The University of Vigo campus is spread across several locations, with the main site being the Lagoas-Marcosende University Campus, located in the parish of Zamáns. It was designed by architects Alberto Noguerol, Alfonso Penela, Benedetta Tagliabue, César Portela and Enric Miralles. The campus occupies a lush, undulating landscape around Mount Marcosende, south of the city centre. Its remarkable buildings, featuring viewing classrooms, are set among artificial hills, pathways and plazas.
