Vigo’s Most Iconic Square

Constitution Square serves as Vigo’s main square. Declared a Historic Site by the Xunta de Galicia, it provides access to the city’s historic centre. From here, the towers of the Co-Cathedral can be clearly seen.

The rectangular square is surrounded by historic stone buildings featuring arcades and balconies with wrought-iron railings. It is also home to several buildings and landmarks of interest, including the former City Hall, the birthplace of Casto Méndez Núñez, and the coat of arms of the Arines family.
