The Vigo Estuary is the deepest and southernmost of the Rías Baixas. It stretches northeast for 35 kilometres, from its mouth at Cape Silleiro to its innermost point at Arcade, and reaches a maximum width of 15 kilometres. Its easy access, deep waters and calm conditions make the estuary an ideal shelter for sailing and a perfect setting for water sports.
